This 6-week course lays the groundwork for writing a book-length memoir or collection of short-form memoirs. Through weekly "unit" lectures and writing assignments, you will determine the theme of your memoir and explore the features of memoir writing that make the ordinary -- or extraordinary -- story sensational.
Units are available to you every Monday after enrollment, with assignments due the following Monday. The units are sent to you by e-mail, and your assignments are returned to me by the same method. My critique is online, offering you feedback on your writing that includes suggestions for development or trimming, as appropriate.
Enrollment is by personal or cashier's check. Receipt is by e-mail confirmation. The course begins the first Monday after receipt of enrollment.
